The chase for the first MLS cup starts here.
What to Expect Against the New Austin FC
The four-year-old, LAFC, welcomes the brand new Austin FC to the MLS. Both teams have dramatically different goals for this 2021 season. Of course, every team’s final goal is to hold up the cup at the end of the season, however, for Austin FC it is important they just get their feet wet this season. They do not have a terrible lineup, but to say they have a line-up talented enough to win the MLS Cup would be an overstatement.
As for our LAFC, according to DraftKings are the favorites to win it all.

All the pressure is on LAFC to win the cup this year. However, for that to come true, Vela must stay healthy and Rossi needs to show that he is too good to even belong in the MLS. Of course, the talk of winning the championship is a bit too early. For now, we concentrate on getting 3 points against a beatable team in Austin FC on Saturday, April 17, at 3:00 PDT on FOX.
