The Los Angeles Dodgers recently acquired left-handed relief pitcher (LHP) Garret Cleavinger in 3-team trade.
This 3-team trade involved the Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Tampa Bay Rays. The Dodgers let go of Minor League infielder Dillon Paulson in exchange for Cleavinger, meanwhile Tampa Bay sent Jose Alvarado to the Phillies to complete the deal.
It’s become clear that Andrew Friedman has focused on building up this bullpen and setting it up for the future which can definitely benefit this team. Cleavinger definitely provides some upside and gives the Dodgers a young guy in the pen.
